Heidi Chen

Heidi Chen is a versatile creative in dance, acting, and modeling who exhibits performing arts in both Eastern and Western cultures. In 2008, she got accepted into the Chinese Military Academy of Arts in Beijing at the age of 9, where she received the best training China could offer. In 2013, Heidi moved to New Zealand and started her career in the Western creative industry. Coming from a technical background such as Ballet and contemporary dance, her passion for street dance, television, and film quickly grew while she was studying for her dance education degree. Heidi has travelled to the USA, training under many world-renowned choreographers and mentors in both New York and Los Angeles. 

Heidi’s unique branding and all-rounded skillsets have enabled her to work actively in New Zealand, China, and Australia since 2016. Her credits include Disney Studio, Rita Ora, Jolin Tsai Ugly Beauty World Tour of China, Six60, Red Bull, Taco Bell, Salman Khan, Dancing with the Stars NZ, ‘ Pleasuredome the Musical’ NZ, Sylvia Park fashion campaign, and Kpop Academy NZ. Moreover, Heidi has also worked as a skeleton crew dancer and assistant choreographer for famous K-pop bands such as Twice, XG, Cherry Bullet, AOA, Cosmo Girls, and more.
