Austin Taylor is a young, versatile and talented up and coming dancer/artist from New Zealand. Well regarded for his 12+ years of competitive and professional training as a HipHop, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and Ballet dancer who has won countless national and international awards and competitions. His commitment to his craft and unwavering passion to train and perform has planted him on numerous global stages including, World of Dance finals closing and opening act performances, Flip the Switch guest performance, Citywalk Universal Studios performance and many more.

He has just recently worked on set for the upcoming movie Disney ‘Zombies 4’ as one of the 24 main cast/dancers. Training and filming took place over a 3 month period in New Zealand where he worked 5-6 days a week on set. Getting to work with Industry leading choreographers Draico Johnson, Teya Wild and Director Paul Hoen who utilized Austin’s skills on set as a dancer and also acting.

Austin has accumulated a huge online presence amassing over 4 million followers and over 1 billion views across all platforms. Known for creating viral dances and choreography where millions around the world have recreated. Austin’s viral dance to the hit song ‘been away’ by Brent Faiyaz managed to be picked up by the world's largest video game ‘Fortnite’ where it became a successful dance emote in the game.

Austin has trained with some of New Zealand’s industry leading choreographers and studios which includes New Zealand school of dance (Ballet Major), Identity Dance Company (IDCO), Space Studios and Dance Avenue. He has also been travelling back and forth to Los Angeles and Australia the past 2 years to better his craft and learn from top choreographers and studios like Millenium, Playground LA and Village Nation. He also has a passion for choreography. He has 3+ years of teaching experience and has been consistently teaching classes in the community and looks to take his creativity to the next level.

Austin has amassed a large sum of accolades throughout his dance journey. Some include, HHI Bronze medalist, Follow your Dreams national soloist champion, World of Dance 3x national gold medalist, PACANZ 2x bronze medalist, 2x gold medalist Upgrade Finals, WDCC 2x national champion and more. He also has experience in modelling including multiple campaigns for Nike, Adidas and JD Sports.
